“Early Modern Amalgams”: GEMSS First Annual Symposium

Location: Union South, 1308 W. Dayton St., Madison, WI (see TITU for room).

The First Annual GEMSS Symposium, “Early Modern Amalgams,” will be comprised of four panels (two before the lunch break and two after) with 3-4 presenters on each panel.  The panels will be moderated by a graduate student or professor.  There will also be a keynote by a noted UW-Madison early modern faculty member.  

Lunch will be provided for free using funds allotted to the Symposium and will be catered by Union South.  

This event is organized by the graduate student members of the Graduate Early Modern Student Society, which is a Registered Student Organization at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
