The Center for Early Modern Studies' mission is to encourage innovative research and foster lively dialogue and debate across a wide range of disciplines with a special focus on the early modern period (XV-XVIII centuries). The UW-Madison CEMS is an RSA-affiliated organization.
The Graduate Early Modern Student Society (GEMSS) is a registered student organization for all graduates interested in the study of early modernity.
