Jennifer Morgan is a dissertator in the Department of French and Italian. She received her M.A. in 2014 from the UW-Madison and is currently studying the use and representation of percussion instruments in French literature from the medieval and early modern periods. She is a proud member of the Graduate Early Modern Students Society and hopes to continue promoting early modern studies on campus.

Lauren Surovi is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of French and Italian. She specializes in the Italian Renaissance and the intersection between politics and theatre, with a focus on Machiavelli and the concept of remedy.
